Current and Future Public Events

We had some terrific fun performing to different crowds over the 2024 Christmas and New Year period. We have the most fun when our audience joins in and sing along, which is, of course, exactly what we want to happen. We sing regularly at the Waterloo Stores, Mumbles and were recently lucky enough to have the Beaufort Scale shanty group come and join us. What a great night that was!

Saturday 12th July

Singleton Park, Swansea. An event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Gorsedd Stones, organised by the Friends of Singleton Park. We will be singing and will be joined by some of the members of our U3A shanty singing group.

Sunday 24th August

We are delighted to have been asked to perform at this year's Spiderfest event. The location is at Christmas Tree Farm, Three Crosses, Gower. We expect to be performing around lunchtime in one of the side venues.

2nd and 3rd August

Weston Super-Mare Shanty and Folk Festival. We are really looking forward to this event. a new one for us. Besides ourselves, there is a long list of acts, so after you have joined us, there will be plenty more to see and hear.

17th-19th October 2025

We are delighted to be performing at the Mevagissey Shanty Festival.

The festival is known for it's cosy venues in local pubs, which are all within easy walking distance of each other.
